I feel like Chevy ripped a ton of design cues for the new Cruze hatch from Citroen’s way-too-old C4.
Blargh.
Pug and Volvo do it better IMO. What do you think? Also, the people in that ad:

Chevy needs to fire it’s Ad folks. That ad, the emoticon one and the Silverado “Aluminum is fer suckers” spots are so aggravating I want to pull an Elvis every time I see one.

Or maybe its just a mild evolution of its (even older) european platform mate, the Astra J.
Current Astra K for comparison.

I like the looks of that red Astra much more than the Cruze.

The J Astra looked so bloated and puffy. The new K is lovely though, what with all the Adam cues.

I like the new Cruze hatch well enough (huge improvement over the sedan, of course) but that Peugeot whatever-it-is and Volvo V40 are much better-looking. Can’t say I see the resemblance between it and the C4 though.

Ah, I mainly see it in the split front grille and the side body sculpting, not to mention the corner of the taillight. The Cruze is a bit like a C4 that got slightly stepped on. Anyways, the Cruze is lovely until you get to the back of the RS trim.
Those two orange mustaches through a sea of black plastic are just hideous and overstyled. Ugh. In that respect the C4 is so much better. Understated and European.

Pull an Elvis? You mean you want a peanut butter and banana sandwich?

Peanut Butter, Bacon and Banana! But, that’s not my Elvis.
My Elvis hangs with Robert Goulet and shoots TV sets.

Still inadvertently copying Citroën with that pillar.
