I was trying to figure out if these had anything in common. One is an European car designed for America. The other is an American car designed for Europe.

Just buy one. They’re under $10k.

I need a Sonett with the V4 so I can actually say I have a V4 and be right!

I’d just like to state that this kind of brash vehicular assertiveness is good oppo.

If we ever fail to endorse an epic bad idea it will be a dark day.

Lovely Sonnett II V4. Thems rare as hell. I have seen exactly 1 in the flesh.

Later Sonnett II with the Ford V4. You can tell since earlier two stroke I3 cars had no hood hump.

Same here. That is the only Sonett I have ever seen in person.

Only 1600ish Sonett II V4s ever saw production. That thing is rare as hens teeth. Love it.

That rare?! I remember reading that 10,000 were made, but that may have included III’s as well. Either way, the II is one of my top dream cars.

Good luck getting a first gen, because only five exist!

Lol. Fortunately this Saab is pre GM. Neither car did sell well. I don’t think the Cadillac ever made it to the European market it was designed for.
