I didn’t know the 2JZ-GTE came in these first.

I’d take one of those any day. Preferably with the 1UZ-FE.

Yep. It was sold as the Lexus GS300 here in the States.
Or the GS400 if you want the 1UZ.

And if you expand to the 1jz, you get even more options. Late MKIII Supra, the Soarer, Chaser, Verossa, Crown, Cresta and Mark II. The 2J has an even bigger list. The wonderful thing is that if you want to experience the 1 or 2JZ, you don’t have to overpay for an MKIV Supra.

The 2nd gen is such a good-looking car.

I love the 1JZ MK3 Supras. I’ll have to look up which other ones came with manuals, because I’m a snob like that :P

I’ve always found them incredibly ugly, ever since they first came out.

I’m mostly in agreement, but can roll with the slushbox if the deal is right. This thing for instance. I fucking love it.

There are some JZX90 Chaser Tourer V’s with sticks. This one is particularly appealing. Low miles and not totally insane price. (Edit: just noticed it actually has a Tourer S badge, which would make it a non-turbo)

Here’s a cheap auto:

Damn that 2nd one looks perfect as is. I’d love something like that to build as a low profile street monster. Imagine tearing up some highway and standing mile events in one of those with a solid 1,000 or so rwhp.
Looking at the engine bays they both appear to be boosted?

Could be the owner of the first one put the Tourer S badge on there to make it more of a sleeper.
