So this dealership in CO admittedly has some pretty cool stuff (for a lot of money)....I think went into a wormhole from one of the Oppo posts and came across this:

I love the ever-living shit out of the 250 GTO.
I have looked for good 250 GTO replicas and have found none that are in the more reasonable 80-100K price range. The closest amazing thing I found was Rob Tempero’s creation. But of course, they cost millions of dollars.

When I was searching for replicas, I came across a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Its made from fibre glass and built in a garage by like 2 people. I don’t think its the same car though and its not something people can buy anyway.
This particular replica is also built on a 280Z and also looks decent but just a little off....I don’t know.
So, is it worth it? If at all I were to get it (I’m not going to get it) - I’d remove the fucking antenna, complete the car with GTO interiors and other stuff. What do you think?
Do you know of any other cool GTO 250 replica makers?

But I would love it if someone hammered out a decent ~80% 250 GTO replica from a 240Z/280Z - make proportionally accurate exteriors (matching wheelbase and almost everything), install correct Ferrari engine salvaged from a car from that age and replicated the interiors.
I’d pay money for that.

A guy my dad knows was building a 250GTO replica out of authentic Ferrari parts. It was both fake and very real at the same time.

I’ve seen a pretty decent one based on a 240Z, probably a lot cheaper than this. No idea whose kit though.

It is surprising more people don’t do them, at least out of 260s and 280s.The proportions are perfect for it. 240s are getting to be worth too much and are better left alone, I think.

Lee, you don’t know how much I wish I could call you right now and buy the perfect car for me. Unfortunately, I am in no position to buy it because I’m in exile out out the States. But, please put up pictures of the car. I know many people here will gladly buy a 250 GTO replica.
I’m living in India because immigrating to America has been a bitch. If you can get me into the country, you will be my first phone call.
My second phone call would be to the Jaguar dealership because I’ve also always wanted the F-Type S/R Coupe (since 2013-ish)
