Late 90's to early ‘00s, lots of GM rebadging going on globally.

You had not only the Subaru Forester being rebadged as a Chevrolet, but also a Subaru Impreza being rebadged as a Saab, a Chevrolet Cavalier and Pontiac Vibe being rebadged as Toyotas in Japan, Suzukis being rebadged as Chevrolets, including a kei car in Japan...and the list goes on.
