Well I was down finding out the new Azera won’t be coming to the US and that we won’t be getting the i30 N either. BUT Hyundai seems to be testing the RM16 N Concept which was that mid-engined Veloster they have been playing around with for years now. Hmmm...

I know, sad day since I really don’t think they are turning the Elantra into a WRX or Civic Type-R competitor. Can you imagine the Elantra taking over the Evo’s mantle? Me neither, which makes me wonder what the plan is.

Huh, didn’t see that article. My pops actually works for Hyundai, I’ll have to run that by him and see why they aren’t.
I read an article somewhere after the first i30N spy shots came out and they were talking as if it was a FoST and GTI fighter. Supposedly if they got enough interest they might try an AWD version ala FoRS and STI. Which could be as simple as making a street version of their rally car.
Overall, interested to see where they are in a couple years.

You’d think mid engined hatches would look really funky but I’ll be damned if that’s not the best looking new car design I’ve seen in a long time
