For those of you interested - or maybe I’m an idiot and this was already shared here - I’ve been wondering about the CarMax Range Rover. TL/DR: (didn’t... watch?) warranty repairs are up over $9k, with about 2 years to go. That might silence those who say that he paid more up front PLUS the warranty and therefore it wasn’t worth it. I think by now, just the smile on his face when he sees an otherwise ominous warning at the end of the video, is probably worth the price of the warranty.
I like the Price is Right style graphics... but I think Doug thinks we aren’t listening when he mentions it’s a six-year warranty that cost $3,900 several dozen times. I’m sure this is how my kids feel when I say, “It’s time to get ready for school, now...”

I would gladly pay more for peace of mind. My time is worth a lot to me I would rather pay for a headache free experience than to save a bunch up front.

His videos are giving me really dangerous ideas.
My next car might involve a Carmax and a roadtrip.

Are there strippers involved with this type of fun? If not count me out.

The glee at the end of the video is the best.

I think that’s exactly the difference... although we’ll see how Tyler Hoover does with his $2,800 RangeRover. Hell, call it $3,800 because it took some money to get it working. I’d love to see some head-to-head comparisons. Like the tilt steering motor that the dealer charged over $700 for, that Tyler I guess got for $185? But Tyler has the time to tinker...

Right though?!
