I loathe this stuff. I don’t like the fakeness. But it’s particularly bad when it’s on touch surfaces like knobs and door handles.
I don’t even mind the plastic! It’s fairly nice plastic, but it’s

I’d prefer that over real wood, even. I cannot abide by a wood interior. It hardly ever matches the rest of the interior.

I tend to prefer woodgrain, only because basically every cheap appliance at Sears is in that same plastic brush metal finish. 30 years ago, my opinion would have been different, since every cheap appliance at Silo or Circuit City was covered in fake wood.

I drove a 2007 Tundra for 1 year and a 2014 for another. Loved them both. This 2016 has been a surprising disappointment.
