What does it mean if my battery light stays on after I’ve turned off the car? Thanks. I just replaced the alternator last night and it was fine for a while.

its backfeeding, look at where you put the wires, you might have mixed one up

It’s definitely the voltage regulator. Can’t mix the wires on the alternator because they won’t fit any other way! Haha

Three also. However, this is a brand new alternator. Why would the regulator be bad? Just got unlucky?

This exact same thing happened to me with the crossfire. Literally identical situation. I just need to stop buying duralast alternators...
