Just this last weekend I finished painting a new body for my RC car! I have to say, it was my daily browsing my oppositelock that inspired it.
I haven’t cut the holes for the body mounts yet which is why it’s sitting a little funny but that will come. Possibly even tonight. And you’ll get to see it, because I’m an author now. Which means I can post all the time. To opposite lock. It’s gonna be great, you’re going to love all my posts.

I’ve considered something similar if I ever bother to get a new body for my slash.

Apparently they sell one pre-painted but I thought spending a lot more money and time for less result was the way to go. Do you race your slash or just bash? I thought I was hard on bodies bashing but it looks like I’ll be going through a body every couple months going to the track.

The nearest track is a little away from me and it’s super competitive. The body lasted me a good while but I might as well grab a new one seeking I’m due for wheels and tires.

I hear the pro-line body is a little thicker with less creases that break.

You can do one for my Slayer Pro next. High speed cartwheels aren’t very nice on the stock thin Traxxas bodies.

I bed linered the inside and will be adding carpet tape on problem areas per the suggestion of my track friends. It helps but yeah. The bodies still only last ten sessions or so.
