Man I wish my 4Runner had those graphics. And that engine(turbo diesel would fit the vehicle perfectly)

Why don’t we get nice things in America? Love my Runner but the 3.0 is a dog.

Yeah they got a way better engine than us.

For years I thought Toyota didn’t sell any of its trucks in the UK. Turns out they do, they just gave them weird names like the “Surf” pictured above as well as the “Amazon” and “Colorado”.

What do the Amazon and Colorado correspond to?
I mean the 4Runner was called the Hilux Surf everywhere except the States(I think)

The Amazon was the 100 series Land Cruiser and the Colorado was the Surf replacement.

They are getting quite common here in BC, those and Prados both.. Unfortunately the usual tag line is ‘overheated, needs headwork..’

Is that a mercury capri in the back??? I love those things!

Because you have silly regulations for headlights, emissions, bumpers, etc

This one’s emissions, everything besides the diesel is identical

I guess the diesel was the sticking point. Historically, America never loved them right?
