Because when they’re on I have the road to myself!

I noticed something on those lines today. College football is huge in Iowa. Every bar I passed was packed for the Wildcats/Hawkeyes. The streets were empty.

I need to find a road and get a picture like that. When I drive the Cougar in less densely populated areas, which is rare, I feel like I’m back in time. It’s a cool feeling!
I’ve always wanted an Alfa, too. Almost bought one a while back, but helped out a buddy and bought his MGB I helped restore when he moved overseas. I proceeded to run it too lean and blew it up. Little roadsters are fun. Congrats on yours!

Yeah, we’re technically a D1 football team in Iowa too, but we’re AA so nobody cares.

When the football game is on here, the main road to my house is shut by cops...

“Blew it up” = no longer on the road?

3rd set of tracks since the snow fell Tuesday. Road to myself for sure!

It’s back on the road, but under someone else’s care now. It was a solid car, little to no rust. I was just tired of dealing with it.

And who could blame you? Maintenance on a car like that whittles away at your soul ....
