Oppo, if you would be so kind, I need vehicles with the following attributes:
Great isolation
Easy ownership experience.
Under 30,000 miles.
Can be had for under $40,000 (the closer to $30,000 it is, the happier I’ll be).
Replacing a 2004 V6 Camry SE. Owned since new with over 235,000 miles.
Right now I’m leaning 2013 Lexus RX350/450h for her, but I’m hoping you sexy people have some other options to check out.
Don’t care about bodystyle. Don’t care where you find it. I just need some options. As always, you’re appreciated.
Thank you!

Great isolation?

How about an Outback Limited? It can he had in either 2.5i or 3.6r flavors. Plenty of interior room. premium interior, Under 40k, Highest safety scores, great record of longevity and reliability. If shopping for a new one, I can even get you a $500 coupon that is able to be applied after all negotiations.

Road isolation. So quiet, no vibrations in the steering wheel or seat, smooth shifts, the usual.

Ford Fusion, Mazda 6, Honda Accord, or ANOTHER Toyota Camry.
If you’re feeling cool, Lexus GS.

Does it also need to baby? If so, I’m afraid that the RX indeed check all the boxes.

I bet the Lexus will be quiet and trouble free. A jalop answer would be a CPO BMW 328i/d wagon. Quiet and the ZF is very smooth. Or an X3, or an X5. The CPO warranty on BMW’s is pretty solid. Lexus is a great choice though, I really like the facelift previous gen RX. Those are like sofas when riding in them.

Just drove an 1800 mile road trip over the holidays in our 2015 Kia Sedona. $34K absolutely loaded when new. Very quiet. Very comfortable. I highly recommend it. Your little copilot there will thank you. Only downside is that mpg is not the greatest.

As you know, Toyota makes the best cars. Unfortunately, transverse V6 engines suck so bad even Toyota can’t make them easy to deal with. Therefore, I’d suggest a loaded 4-cylinder Camry.

Cuz a kid that cute should have a sweet looking ride. The escape did everything my wife and I needed and we had twins

Snag a used XTS Cadillac. You’ll probably appreciate the interior (and exterior), is super quiet and has a soft cushy suspension that still allows for a sporty-esque ride. Can be had with a mostly glass sliding roof, leg extenders for the driver, AWD if you find the right one, and easy maintenance, since its basically just a new impala in a fancy outfit.

and loaded (more mileage than you’re asking for, but just so you can see the details and pictures)

Nope, in fact it doesn’t even need to seat more than a 5ft tall driver and her boyfriend on the weekends.

I love the new Sedona! I want to put a little lift kit on one. Thanks for confirming it’s as awesome as I’ve hoped.

Actually that’s just a GIS for a cute kid driving. Im so ready to be a dad, I just cant track down a wife. The MKC is a great answer and one that is on the short list!

I’ve been thinking about doing an Oppo review because no one talks about it, but if I do, I want to do it right. The Honda and Toyota competitors aren't even in the same league.

Well my wife wants another....

Logical choice : A new V6 accord EX-L. Good looking, fast, comfy, and great ownership experience.
OPPO choice: a W220 S600. Find a good one for $20,000 and save the rest for maintenance. Plus, MB dealers are usually really cool. You won’t find one with under 30,000 miles, but the bi-turbo V12 makes up for that.

Right you are, Doc!

A current-gen Avalon. You can get a new one for under $40k with a decent amount of features. Quiet, smooth, comfortable, and luxurious. I find that people who love Camrys typically love other Toyotas, as well as new cars, so this is the safe bet.

You should do a review! They’re definitely the best looking vans out there, and they are seemingly quite luxurious. I want more reviews of the every-man vehicles on here. Hopefully ones more positive than my Sable review...

Get the next jalop car, the Ford flex ecoboost.

Okay, I'll give it a shot, if it'll be of help to anyone.

Nice! I forgot they flipped the grill on these.

I do love a facelifted Ford Flex. But unfortunately it isn’t for me...damn I’m starting to realize I’m into vans.

Lol a nice one will come your way sooner or later

They are killing those off I think
![]() 01/31/2016 at 22:24 |

Yeah. It looks a lot less trout-like in person than the pre-facelift one. Also, the interior is fantastic.

320i with Sport and Track Handling Packages.

Perfect, hits all the points!
![]() 01/31/2016 at 23:49 |

Seriously, consider it! Practical with adequate room. Premium brand too, and not too badly equipped. Sporty especially with the packages, easily undercuts your budget NEW WITH BOTH PACKAGES, and even if you want to go used, you can find one, though rare, at your ideal price point. Won't look like a lease special either.
