Doesn’t mean you should buy it.
But this guy is worth about $43 million so fuck whatever I think.

Some people buy expensive things just because they’re expensive.
I don’t understand it either.

This is why most people buy many things: because they can. No better example than the countless things you can shove in your home. Individual semi-fancy sconces can be had for over 200 bucks a pop.

I actually like that orb cage thing. I don’t know what the fuck that chandelier is doing in it. It should have some kind of funky 60's or 70's space-age looking light fixture in there. Or TIE fighters.

pfffft. I have one of those hanging in my garage.

That’s one thing I miss about building “Custom” homes. The junk some people buy because it looked good in a magazine is amazing. Once the “junk” is installed they get angry because it doesn’t look like the magazine pics and all hell breaks loose.
If I had a Dollar for every time I’ve heard “ I’ll have your job! ”..

Bullshit, sir. And if not, it’s taking up precious room that could be used on a Land Cruiser

I take photos of as much of [whatever it is I do for a living] because all magazines and pamphlets do is set standards that sometimes don’t even meet code in practice....

I couldn't fit the Corolla in the garage if I tried.

Most of the trendy stuff doesn’t meet code.

The fact that we’re calling it the “orb thingy” automatically means we’re too poor for our opinions to matter.
