This is my best work yet. I spent a lot longer than usual building every piece of this car. Quite frankly, I’m very proud with how the bodywork turned out, especially the rear.
The model features two opening/closing doors, clamshell hood, and a liftback hatch.
Several aspects of the original design were included in the redesign, such as the quad-circular taillights, front/rear overhangs, the protrusion of the door panels in relation to the windows, the shape of the greenhouse, and more.
FT50.
Happy (almost) 50th birthday, 2000GT.

Now you need to put it into Beam.ng drive and crash the hell out of it.

Besides the darkness, it’s as good as excellent.
Now if only it’s put side-by-side with the old one, with the FT50 wearing exactly the same colors as the 2000GT...

I like the rear half, not too keen on the front half

Nice! I need more light - I want to see it better!

Not bad, but the headlights look far too derpy. Just fill that black spot with light and it’ll be fine

And it’s a beautiful shade of white. I haven’t been able to replicate it perfectly yet.

Well to be fair, the old one also looks derpy with its headlights up.

I’ll do more renders!

Kinda, but yours looks crosseyed.

Rear end reminds me slightly of the Marcos TSO, which is a very good thing.

I think mine looks better. Just sayin’

Looking good. Now I want to see it in the daylight.
