I miss the days when they first started, and left a number on the image for every annotation. Covering the images in annotation numbers was fun.

I remeber time before Kinja, it was good time. But yeah annotations was the one great feature and they remove it now.

It worked consistently for a while and then it stopped being consistent and started being spotty. It seemed like some of the annotation numbers weren’t showing up under the image and only in the comments.

You have (or now, had) to allow full replies and replies pending approval to see all annotations. Took me a while to get used. Also, clicking in the (...) allowed to see all annotations (Before clicking Kinja would only show like the first 12 or 10 and the last one)

It was such a cool/ useful feature. Really don’t know why they took it away from us :(
