Had a productive afternoon, installed the headers, plugs and wires as well as connected other odds and ends. Waiting on a couple fittings so I can do a PCV catch can, taking care of a few loose bits right now.
Slip on turn-downs so it will help keep the O2 sensors a little happier without getting a lot of air reversion back in there and making it dump fuel or not idling right.
While I waited for some stuff to dry, did a test fit with two wheels. I need open end lugs since I am running long ARP wheel studs for racing duty. I know it’ll look a whole heck of a lot better once it’s on the ground.

At first glance I thought those were BBS FIs. Regardless, they are beautiful.

Wow, now I know where they got their “inspiration” lol!
Thanks though, I’m looking forward to getting them mounted and outside where I can get some better angles.

Haha yeah, it’s kind of fun to spot wheels that have “similar” designs on the street. Works out for those of us who aren’t baller enough to drop 10k on a set of wheels also.

Yeah, these were 900 shipped, 21lbs isn’t too bad for a set of 19x9.5's.
Just sad that I can’t run my 17" Speedline Mistrals anymore, but I did it all to myself anyway with the CTS-V brake upgrade...
I’m a greedy bastard, lol!

I was wondering about the rotor diameter. It didn't look stock. That answers my question.

Have fun changing your spark plugs.

Heh, plugs are pretty easy compared to the LS1 especially since I have headers now.

That’s so cheap! Tell me again what these are, I might need them for summer wheels.

I think the 19's were the first run, they’ll probably open it up more after a bit. I got one of the first 5 sets that they had in stock, so it might be a thing where they’re just testing the waters.

Wow that’s quite a steal! That is pretty light for a 19x9.5. The only way to get lighter with that size is probably forged wheels like Volks or WedSsports.
