turns out its not lead these days, apparently that was poison, who knew? :P
but yes, weighted to slightly over the allowable 5oz by our scales, so we have room to adjust tomorrow with the officil scales

yeah, I can recall as a kid heating lead in a ladel to pour into my cars, this new stuff is heavy but nowhere near as maleable

I still have some old ones. Tried some weird aero on the last one, but I think it wouldn't work with the ramp so it had to go backwards. And still won.

Do all 4 wheels make contact? When I made mine, I did it so only 3 wheels made contact for friction reduction. I also sanded the wheels to get rid of the burs from the plastic injection, sanded the axles down, graphited the shit out of both of those, hollowed out the bottom of the car, and then loaded the very rear end with lead.

we did polish, and graphite, and hollow, and load with rear weight, but in compliance with the rules and scruntineering all 4 wheels fo touch :)
