It seems like some sort of helicopter gunship might be a good counter to the threat of fast attack craft to warships. Wouldn’t put it on a battleship, but it I were commanding a carrier in the Persian Gulf, it’d be tempting to borrow a few Cobras from the Marines to screen my battle group.
