Ahh the original useless FWD CUV, and what a piece of shit it was.

It’s alright, but it’s no Towns Hustler.

And what a useless, rust riddled from the factory piece of shit it was, if you don’t mind!

Kind of hard to imagine that the same factory would produce one of the first fully galvanized cars just three years later.

Obviously learned from their mistake quickly, btw what car was it?

There’s one just by me, one owner that is still used year-round. It’s a really cool car, I’d love to try it.

But hey, since it was the original you can now go around town pointing the middle finger at everyone driving a CUV and say “I did it first!!”

I’ve loved them since I was little, mostly because it was used in the Dutch childrens TV-series “Bassie en Adriaan”
Here you see it being chased by a Datsun 260Z around Zandvoort

1980 Matra Murena, closely related to the Renault Avantime because of its body construction (and the fact that Matra built the first three generations of Espace).

I wanted one of these as a kid. I had a diecast model of a red one that was my favourite toy.

That is an awesome bit of Oppo knowledge, I knew about the Espace thing but not the Murena!
