While watching League Pass I got a Kia commercial offering a 87 month financing plan on a Kia Soul. Who the hell does 7+ year financing deal on a car?!?

If you need 87 months to pay off a Kia Soul you should probably not get a car.

It's really common these days. That's why manufacurers have gotten away with stupid price hikes. Just look at all of the full size GM SUVs running around.

Who does 87 month financing? Someone who is bad with their finances.

Pretty sure GM has offered the same length but at 0%
Means the monthly car payment is very reasonable and you get a new car. Dealer expects you to trade it in and upgrade before the loan is paid off.

People that can’t afford a new car, that’s who.

People who buy a payment not a car.

Normally I’m a big fan of 0%, but a Kia on a 7 year note even at 0% you’d be underwater.
