Who needs a damn waterpump anyway? Just hook this thing up permanently and don’t bother replacing the broken pump.

Well there's the problem, I've now got the pump off and it's fine I think. Just trying to access the last bolt but I can see the blades and they look as good as new :/

why not just remove bottom rad hose , or are you going to reuse the coolant?

That’s 11 litres of coolant coming out very quickly. I’m not sure I’m fast enough with a bucket.

I use a shop vac and tape a small hose

that rotary hammer is a little overkill for running that pump isn’t it?

I need this. My Volvo doesn’t have a coolant plug, I have to drop the pan when I change it. And I don’t have a garage.

It’s the only only one I’ve got with variable speed :)

Does it have a regular drill chuck or did you have to modify a SDS bit?
![]() 01/16/2016 at 15:15 |

It's SDS+ but you can buy 13mm chucks for them which just slot in as per usual.

I wish I had a shop vac. I’m stuck with a detailers vac which does the minor jobs, but otherwise I’m stuck with a good ‘ol dustpan and brush.

Notice the little block hanging by a wire? That’s my redneck trigger pull so I can just jam it in and let it run.

Ha! Even better!
