How long ago did you sell it to him? Of course, there is depreciateion to consider, and mods don’t increase the value of a car.

Buy it back. Sell it for more. Have someone else make more mods, buy it back. Rinse repeat until it’s a rally car. Profit.

granted yes on a daily basis it’s fine for it to have mud on it but you would have better luck selling it when it looks in good condition and washed
