It just shrunk a little after getting washed
I’ve seen two of these on the road recently and I like them less and less. It looks so ill proportioned. I hate the taillights. I hope the hatch looks decent in person.

I don't mind the crosstour. I don't like it, but I don't hate it. It's a large car though the the shape fits a larger vehicle. New civic doesn't look right to me, especially from the rear. Head on, I bet most people couldn't tell you if it was a civic or an accord.

well. its a reasonably big hatchback with AWD, a brillant honda V6 at the front, thats well put together and has enoguh ground clearance for canadian winters. AND its got a legit handbrake
why wouldnt I like it?

I’m surprised the Crosstour doesn’t get more love. Is it because it’s FWD and not a brown, diesel engine car with a manual? It's a wagon, despite whatever else they may call it.

I can’t argue that!

I kinda like it. I certainly don't hate it, and the back end is a bunch of weird stuff... but I kinda like it.

it blows my mind the new civic isn’t a hatch. it looks so hatchback ready and then they cut a trunk big enough for a basketball into that roomy back end
The Powershift in Steve's '12 Ford Focus killed it's TCM (under warranty!)

The Crosstour, for all of it’s cosmetic sins, is at least a hatchback. This little thing forces you to stuff things into the trunk through a tiny little opening. If you’re going to give me dramatically sloped rear roofline, at least make it a hatch.

I’ve seen them in the wild and I still don’t see it.
That being said, the Crosstour isn’t that bad of a design.

The Civic also grew a lot. The backseat is huge, but the trunk aperture is a joke. And so is the quality of the interior materials. And the exterior styling is a mess of angles, small pieces, textures, and panel gaps. It's okay from far, but far from okay.

I think 99 si was peak civic... hasn’t been a better one since. So, so much better than the new one.
