Taken from a trip a few months ago in Joshua Tree. The air mattress fit perfectly in the back of my car!

I'll never understand sedans.

I drive a Fiat 500 and laugh at your functional cargo hold.....

Well, you do weigh about 400 pounds less. Gotta give up something to gain something!

These cars are long enough to qualify as wagon, as far as I’m concerned

In my head a wagon is a much larger vehicle. More like a CTS Wagon or Mazda 6 Wagon. Definitely a gray area, though.

First camping trip in the WRX. It’s full to the front seats.

Okay I just found something interesting:
Volvo 240 wagon interior volume: 41 cubic feet
Mazda Protégé5 : 38.5 cubic feet
Cadillac CTS wagon: 58 cubic feet
2015 mazda3 sport : 47.1 cubic feet
So by yesterday’s standard, the protégé5 is a big wagon.
By today’s standard, it’s a hatch.

Going to Joshua Tree next spring — hope it’s fun.

I always thought the Volvo had way more room than that. Good to know!

Awwwww yeeeeeah. It’s always so satisfying to see how much stuff you can fit. Photos are always a must.

I was only there for a day, but if you have never been it’s definitely a great place to check out. The scenery is just so different from most places.

A friend and i done that, the rear seats folds foward to a suitable lying down angle, and then feet out the rear hatch. Was waiting for some racing to start, and had forgotten the folding chairs.

That sounds pretty comfortable!
