Ford is doing it, Corvette will do it, so why not Dodge?

It wouldn’t be a Viper if it did. The whole point is that it’s a super/hyper-muscle car, not a super-sports car like Ferraris and so-on. The only thing a new Viper needs is more power.

Mentally Retarded? It was already batshit, so even that’s a leap.

This. The Viper was a modern interpretation of the Shelby Cobra.
A MR car would be something entirely different.

No, it need more power, a more refined suspension and a DCT option at this point

Ford isn’t “going” MR, it’s been that way since the 1960s which, coincidentally, is roughly the time those asinine mid engined Corvette rumors started.

Why not both?

If the carpocalypse didn’t hit, this would’ve been the third generation Ford GT. Followed by a forth generation right around this time.
Acura NSX would’ve had a V10 and the car landscape as a whole, would’ve been quite different.

Aside from the words “Ford”and “GT”, your reply has literally no relationship to what I just said.

Corvette will do it
They’ve been about to do it since they made the Corvette. It’s the longest and best running joke in the industry.
Lol.

Better be like that Gran Tursimo Vision. Oh that thing is glorious.
