It has come to my attention that we are suffering from a severe “Doobie Brothers” shortage.

A classic, with an even better origin story.

Will listen and wikipedia it!
I’m all for new music, but there is something about artists...who also happen to be MUSICIANS as well!

This is a spoof. A series called “Yacht Rock”, which is a bit of reality, but mostly fiction. But, there was a lot of mixing among bands in that era, as many members came out of session careers, so playing with different groups was totally normal.

Another fun Doobie fact: Skunk Baxter turned his recording experience into a defense career.

Freaking love this song I’ve been really into it lately and it should have great resonance with car enthusiasts.
I certainly feel like I’m chasing after some impossible fantasy sometimes with my project car that keeps breaking down
lyrically its a mighty fuckin’ sad situation about some sad sac put to one of the best melodies of the era. Mad props to Kenny fuckin’ Loggins diggin’ deep for the lyrics.
