But here’s more about the upcoming M2 -its going to be an amazing car, but I just hope it will lower used m235 prices :-/

Better hope for build-to-demand, then. Because if this is another 1M situation, you can count on m235 prices to go up after launch.

Either the BMW USA website is wrong, or the M2 is not using an N55 engine. The N55 is an open deck design but BMWUSA.com lists the engine as a closed deck design. The B58 and S55 are both closed deck engines, so if it is indeed a closed deck engine, it would be a derivative of one of those two.
