I just realized something. In the time I’ve had full ownership of my car, I’ve never had it in one state for multiple registration periods. It started out with Washington plates when I got it, then I got California plates on it, then I got Oregon plates on it, then I got Washington plates on it. I swear to fuck if I move to Montana before September...

My truck technically expired on the 31st, I have the sticker but I havent gottem around to installing it. Theres a 30 day grace period

We have a 15 day grace period in WA — they technically expire on the 15th of whatever month. Mine expire in February actually, but I like to be proactive because I don’t like to attract the po pos for any reason I can avoid.

we no longer have to display a sticker.
it’s all electronic these days.

We used to have to have a tax disc on the lower passenger side of the windscreen up till October last year. Now it’s electronic.
I do have a sticker on my licence plate though.
