On one hand, mechanical engineering required frequent use of partial differential equations. On the other hand, shortly after taking DiffEQ we learned how to solve them with Matlab. Even in undergrad they don’t expect you to do things by hand very long.

I found differential equations a whole lot more fun than calc 3, but then again I was a freshman idiot who decided to take calc 3 at 8am MWF.
