I don’t collect, but like most things I have interest in, I’ve accumulated quite a few. In reorganizing things I had my box-of-cars out and figured I’d get a picture for anyone interested.
If you want to see any/all of them in better detail, I can take decent pictures by request (but no I won’t open the package, and I have no idea why). Yes, there’s a Panamera in there which was a gift from someone who knows nothing about cars. Could have been worse.

by the way, the panamera casting is pretty good

Be careful with the dlm. Once you start opening them it is a waterfall and they all need to be opened. Granted... it’s really worthwhile doing it and you can appreciate them SO much more.
Give in to the dark side ;)

Agreed. At this point I am literally addicted to the slippery feeling of the fresh paint and metal in my palm as the tiny little casting slides out of its plasic prison..

ONE OF US! ONE OF US!
(I see you’ve been sent to LaLD).

I have! I often forget there’s a dedicated page for it. I’ve skimmed the articles - a lot of what you guys do (with detailed customs and such) is beyond anything I think I could do. Maybe some day I’ll pick one up in duplicate and see what I can do, until then these will stay in the box they live in and on occasion get a new box-mate.

We should have a contest to see who can name the most cars without blowing up the picture.

I’d say it’s half customs, half show and tell. Most of the customs are well beyond my talent, too. I still mess around a bit, and occasionally something turns out looking ok.

Plus it’s so satisfying ripping the blister off the card by grabbing the top and bottom. Just the opening act is fun, let alone what you described :D

Personally I like to peel off the corner of the blister then slide my finger across like opening a letter...it’s so therapeutic to feel the plastic separating from the card. Then I leave the bottom part attached, removing it later if I feel like keeping the card.

That’s a solid little collection! (Yes, it’s a collection!)

The fact that there’s someone at Hotwheels who thought immortalizing the Datsun 620 was a good idea makes me very happy. The people in charge these days bigger Jalops than us. Either that or I’m just finally noticing how incredible Hotwheels has always been.

I remember being blown away when I saw it hanging there and absolutely had to have it.

I didn’t know they made a white E46 M3 or a black Porsche RSR. I have the Blue E46 and the bright orange RSR.

It’s an e36 lightweight
The bright orange RSR sounds cool!

E36, yeah, duh. That’s what I meant to say.

It’s my favorite e36:
(A close second would go to a technoviolet over dove M3)
