Maybe (reading between the lines here) the horn stays on all the time, hence it being unplugged to avoid draining the battery.

hell less than ten grand for a 240z with a clean body is almost worth it regardless of the engine. An m3 motor just seems like an odd choice for a swap if you are just going to sell it when you are done.

I am assuming it is some emissions related CEL. I imagine doing this swap was not kind to the emissions system.

A quick google search brought up PAGES of how-tos on fixing the horn button. I sense that they are a common issue and no fun to fix.

Wonder how you can see the CEL on a 240Z dash. If he swapped in an M3 dash, why not remove CEL bulb? Lots of halfassery looming in this build.
