I saw a lot of car posts and tried to make more car-related posts. I had no idea this was an off-topic forum (although that explains a lot of other posts I've seen). Now Oppo makes a lot more sense to me (although I still like it the same as before).

The original intention of Oppositelock was for people from jalopnik to discuss other things than cars. I laugh every time I see someone post a picture of a car “to keep it car related” on a post.

I mean, people are free to talk about literally anything they want. It just so happens that the majority of people on here have cars as their main interest in life in some form or another. So it tends to be a major topic or at least prevailing theme throughout. I tend to post about anything that interests me but 99% of the time that is my car anyways haha.
