It’s probably not, but in that photo it looks like massive understeer instead of drifting.

to me he’s drifting around a left hand bend (the Camera man appears to be on the outside of the bend) if you look closely at lhf corner of GT-R , the road looks cleaner.

Yep, it’s just an optical illusion. Lines from previous runs and/or other cars are clearly visible on the right.
