At what point does a 2-door hatchback stop being a 2-door hatchback, and become a shooting brake? I’m thinking of cars like a 2-door Golf or the C30 or the Civic Hatchback.. or does it depend on the cars heritage? Meaning that for a car to be a shooting brake, does it have to be preceded by either a 4-door or a Coupe version of the same care in existance already? Though wouldn’t that make the 2-door Civic Hatchback a shooting break?
Just things I ponder...
