There is a compact Jeep coming out soon to replace both the Patriot and Compass models. What should Jeep name it?
Personally, I wouldn’t mind a Jeep Grand Renegade. That would make Jeep’s future line up Renegade, Grand Renegade, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee. Then the luxury focused Grand Wagoneer and offroad focused Wranglers show off the extremes of the brand.

Why not combine both names? The Jeep Pumpass?

I thought about this too and Steve was the name I chose! Great minds.

That sounds dirtier than the trails this model will never see!

I think they’re going to need a bigger model for that.

The Willys. The first compact Jeep was a Willys so why not this one?

The Jeep: Why Does This Model Exist?!?!
Seriously though, is there really a need for another small model?
Just build a Jeep pickup on the Wrangler Unlimited chassis and watch the profits roll in.

Jeep Pumpass - it’s kinkier and cheaper than an 18 year old Hummer.

Why not stick to the old names like Jeepster and Commando?
![]() 01/03/2016 at 01:05 |

I could see Commando or Comanche coming back.

While this is a custom build, it is the proportions a Jeep pickup should have if one were to be produced.

A bit too bobbed to be useful, this bed length is right in my opinion.

Personally I think they should call it the Compass... which I think is a good name without being too “raaa raaa MURICAAAAA”
But failing that, I suggest either call it the Scrambler or the CJ2A.

Something about this picture looks like it is a great picture of a nice scale model.

I thought the same thing! I still see it as an incredibly small model on a powered donut.

They should call it the Compass. Yes, the current Compass isn’t very good, but they still sell a ton and it has plenty of name recognition. It’s also not a bad looking vehicle. Why should they spend a ton more money marketing a new name?
I also expect the new one to keep the mini Grand Cherokee styling, which I think is fantastic.

They need it because small SUVs are the hottest market right now and Jeep doesn't want to miss a Single niche in it.

Woo Jeep, continue competing with yourself.
The Renegade could compete with the Patriot, the Patriot could compete with the Compass and the Compass can compete with the Cherokee. What the fuck Mopar.

Hey that’s actually the place brands love to be. Look at Porsche, all its real competition is a new lower spec version or a used higher spec version, but with options and appreciation, all choices run the same price.

Jeep La Jeep
I like commando but that had a nice v8. A modern grand wagoneer would be great but that had room and would need...room.
