This is the closest I could get to a decent recording of it, it’s fairly quiet so cell phone audio doesn’t do it much justice. That being said, I’m very happy with the results. Noticeable bump in power (I suspect a good chunk of that is due to several horses that were escaping through holes in the previous exhaust being returned), but with no drone or any undesirables, and a bit of added sound to boot. It’s like Chewbacca playing a muted trumpet.

Now if only they could compete with the 1.8T in terms of budget tuning. Great character out of the box (Especially with the 24v. VW liked that power figure in the GTI so much they didn’t change it for a decade), but nothing beat taking my 1.8T to the APR dealer and leaving 30 minutes later with 35 extra horses and 65 extra ft*lbs. The addition of a 6 speed is nice, though.
