And I love it! It’s a 2007 Ranger with a 2.3/Auto.
It’s a base Fleet model but it’s surprisingly comfortable. I’m 6’3” tall and had no issues driving all day. There may be an issue if it were a Manuel though, my knee sits right about where the stick would be.
Seating is firm and supportive even after 78,000 miles and who knows how many drivers.
The “Infotainment” center is more than acceptable for a guy like me too.
It makes me wish I didn’t sell off my “Project Scrap Value” Ranger last year. My “Crusty” F-150 hasn’t let me down but it will need retiring soon. When that day comes I want another Ranger.

I’m borrowing an ‘07 ranger used as a construction work truck, like 160k miles and the 4.0 while my car’s getting some transmission bits replaced. It’s an absolute dog, and the brakes are horrifyingly bad. How is the 2.3? I wouldn’t mind a small truck but I’d be shooting for the 4-cyl 5-speed sort of deal since the heaviest stuff I ever haul are car parts.

Looks surprisingly similar to our ‘96 Ranger of the same configuration. Ours has 175,000 miles and only gets driven a few times a year, but always starts and runs like a champ.

This thing has been taken care of. Just for laughs I set the A/C to Max and hopped on the Expressway. I had no issues getting to speed and merging. Then I realized that the A/C cuts out at WOT.
If it had 4wd the 2.3 wouldn’t be enough.
I’m pretty sure it’s quicker than my 1995 F150 with a 5.0.

That's not quite infotainment. It's not really even entertainment. I think it's just, like...tainment.

Why thank you! She has come a long way from the tired old truck it was when my dad drove it. I’m constantly finding something to add/modify/occasionally remove. Oh and repair. There’s plenty of that unfortunately.
