We’re repeating last year’s epic 2-day trip except it will take 3 days to better pace ourselves and there’re be some adjustments to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! after our experiences with road conditions and traffic patterns. The starting point will likely be the Ingles in Traveler’s Rest, South Carolina and from there it’s to Tail of the Dragon where we’ll be setting up camp. Day 2 will be the Dragon and the local roads (that aren’t as crowded). Day 3 will be either doubling-back over day 1’s roads or doing a quick loop through Tennessee to get onto the Blueridge Parkway for another afternoon run back toward Greenville. We’ll be camping out at !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! near Tail of the Dragon.

Oh, also! You can see a bit of the campsite in the movie A Walk In The Woods, as the characters are crossing the dam. I thought that was pretty cool.
