I just landed in London for a conference that will have me here most of the week. Driving to the hotel from Heathrow I saw a pack of 458s in town; two had crazy paint/wraps like Deadmaus’ car. A few high-spec 911s too were mixed in. Considering how much traffic is here you wwouldn’t think pricy hot rods would be the ride of choice. Cool to watch tho..

A lot of the crazier supercars are owned by rich tourists, Arabs and Russians particularly in London. The more restrained ones are likely to be permanent residents.

In London you either have a shit box because you can’t afford an Oyster Card or you drive something luxurious/exotic because you can’t be mixing with the riff-raff or you have a track day car because we are pretty much surrounded by the things.
