I’m tempted to enter my Oldsmobile in a local autocross, but I have no idea what class it would fall into. It’s a completely stock ‘65 Oldsmobile 98 with the 360hp 425, and a curb weight of 4250... The only potential issue I see (other than having only lap belts) is that the wheelbase is 126”...
Any autocross gurus want to venture a guess about what class I’d fall into?
Newly-shined hood for your time.

I think the ILYA will have a class for the Olds.
I say this with much love as a former Olds Delta 88 owner.

If your region supports the CAM classes that’s probably the easy one to pick since its made for muscle cars. Otherwise looks like you’d fall under the catch-all rules for F-Street.

Nice, ILYA! I’m actually curious to figure out how to get started with something autocross or SCCA-ish. I’d love to bring the Volt around a course, I think it would respond very well. Or my ‘73 LeSabre, that could be fun in it’s own challenging way...

F stock or CAM.

Definitely CAM...or just run it in “fun” class..most likely not going to be competitive in cam(theres usually some really dialed mustangs/camaros at my local autox). F stock would be funny..you would be competing with some fast mustangs and m3’s

Makes me want to take the Montego to one! See if that performance handling package (Cyclone) does anything for me!
