New LCAs to replace my nasty stock ones.

Next up: Sway bar, replace some worn-out rubber in the rear suspension, and rear brakes. Cars are hard.

There’s something seriously Jalop about having a gross and beat up undercarriage... except for a single, gleaming shiny part.

Nah, you needed to get ones in purple anodized, preferably with the rest of the rear subframe and one of those big tow hooks. Don’t you get the Civic newsletter?

So many people have asked why I didn’t get some gaudy color. The response that satisfies them is “because stealth, bro”

Did those LCA bolts come out easy? When I had mine those things were seized in there good. Such a pain.

The left strut one was totally frozen inside the bushing sleeve, and my method of removal ruined the bushing (several months ago) which is why I was replacing the LCAs in the first place. The inner bolts were fine, but the outermost ones were also completely seized and the heads twisted off. I cut the bolt out then had to torch out one of the stubs, though the other one just came out with vice grips. It turned a 30 minute job into 3 hours of depressed swearing and dangerous angle-grinding.
