Hey, it says twin turbo on the valve cover. Why can I only see one?

I think it’s at the bottom of the pic bro.

As cool as this is...I still don’t get why they are doing this. The 1gz is already two 1jzs in a v12 configuration...

How would someone combine two of these engines together onto one transmission?

But it’s not a Hot VEE.

Lot’s of fabrication and a custom block. It’s more 1JZ heads on a custom block I do believe.

Gotcha. In other words, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I think that engine would be right at home in a stretched SW20 MR2 with a clamshell hood.

Those are some wimpy little turbos.

You say that like ‘because we want to’ isn’t valid answer to that question.

I think this was a shed built thing, so it might not be overly expensive.

Considering what it’s going in apparently, it’s enough.

Took me a minute. Well played.

Oooooooh. I know what engine I need for the Crapri.

I was gonna gripe and complain about the reversed-flow head, but then I saw that they took the time to modify the end of the head to stick the cam gears out the other side. Super slick, really cool. Project is madhouse, though.
Edit: The 120-degree Vee is also an interesting choice. Gonna be balanced, but have lumpier firing intervals.

Is it really a hot V with the turbo sticking out here?

How do you fabricate a block in a shed?
![]() 09/26/2015 at 18:25 |

Skill and machinists tools.

That’s what I was sort of thinking

And a welder. I think they basically cut the blocks and piece them together.
