About $2.40 at Safeway. Would be less if the state hasn’t imposed a new gas tax.

It’s about $2.09 in Wilmington NC. I guess they can charge whatever they want since it’s both a beach town, and a college town.

Ouch!

Thanks, San Franobama!

Get out of here with your metric system, lol.

Last night it was $2.49. It might be lower today as it seems to be going down quickly.

Is there any good reason I should not relocate to Texas?

I’d love to pay 2.09.
![]() 09/25/2015 at 16:32 |

Seriously. This state is beyond fucked up.
![]() 09/25/2015 at 16:34 |

I filled up Bonnie last night, it was 2.399 per gallon. I’m jealous that your gas is 50¢/gal less, but then I remember that you’re in Houston so it evens out.

Costco is $2.06 for 87 right now in PHX.
![]() 09/25/2015 at 16:35 |

Nice! I’ve noticed NJ has low prices like Texas does.

Seems like mod comments take priority viewing over everybody else now with the new Kinja. Just came here to reply after posting and everybody else was relegated to “other discussions”

Well, I mean we have a better economy, culture, international cities, nice people, cheap cost of living... If you hate those things, you probably shouldn't move.

$3.49?!?! Are there riots yet over this yet?!
![]() 09/25/2015 at 16:56 |

I paid $2.09 in the ‘Burbs yesterday, but there’s a couple of places that are cheaper.
Wife paid $1.09 to fill her car up at Krogers the other day, but that was with point as well.

I thinks its hierarchical, blog owner first, then admins, then authors, then followed, then gray. I know that if an author replies to or stars a post it will surface that comment and that if an admin stars a post it bolds the title. Kinja is...kinja.

The logic is mind boggling.

Around here, on my drive in I saw gas at $0.98... per liter.
So that’s about $3.70... but in Canadian dollars. With the currency conversion, we’re paying about US$2.80 per US gallon in the Toronto area.
Yep... the Canadian dollar has gone from about US$0.90 a year ago to US$0.75 as of today.
And that explains why in Canadian dollar terms, we haven’t seen as much of a drop as Americans have.
![]() 09/25/2015 at 17:08 |
|
And that works out to about US$3.14 per US gallon given the current exchange rate is CAD$1 = US$0.75
![]() 09/25/2015 at 17:11 |
|
The cost of gas where you are is higher than at least some places in Canada!
CONGRATULATIONS!

No Tesla stores in Texas...

As long as it isn’t over $4 I’m happy.

around $2.50
![]() 09/25/2015 at 17:43 |

LOL, to be honest I saw that price and thought “oh, prices have come down a bit”. Everything is ridiculously overpriced out here - it really skews your perception of reality.

Come to Texas. Fewer hipsters, better Mexican food, cheaper gas.

€1.60 per litre here in Germany, good thing the company is paying; ridiculous

Got some friends in the LA area paying the same and the refinery that delivers to their local gas station is about 5 miles away.
Gas in Hawaii is cheaper than some places in CA, now. We’re about $3.20 for 87.

$2.049 yesterday morning
