I’m not looking for the most expensive or luxurious car, I’m looking for the car that doesn’t make you look like you are showing off or trying to impress anyone. I will start this off with two cars, the Volvo P1800 and the 1969 Alfa Romeo Giulia.
Both of these cars are gorgeous in a understated way, with nothing too flashy that would say look at me!
So Oppo, show me what you can come up with.

Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Lusso is the classiest of all cars, ever. So I say it works for your “not trying to impress anyone” criteria, even though it has Ferrari badges on it.
Alternatively, there’s the 1965 Buick Riviera GS.

There are a few from each era that fit; Mercedes CL (C215), BMW 8-series, Citroen DS, Renault 4, various Cadillacs, etc.

This is one of the few Ferraris that fit this category. This may be controversial, but I’d also put the 612 Scaglietti on this list, because it is one of the least flashy ones while still being good looking.

This is on the edge, since it has the connection to old people and the Police.

I shot a video on the classiest car ever just yesterday.

Yep, I’d say this is way up on the list.

Well, the connection to old people is also true for the car you posted. People that bought p1800 and Alfa Giulia are all at least 70 now.

Personally I hate the 612 Scaglietti. Its proportions are bloated, its detailing is unimpressive, the grille looks stupid, the ridges on the front wheel arches shouldn’t be there, the wheels are too small, and the ride height (and thus wheel gap) is too high.
Lowering it on larger wheels improves things somewhat, but it doesn’t fix the the rest of the problems.

Thats true to a point, but only awesome old people drive the volvo and the Alfa, while those who drive the Grand Marquis are not necessarily at that level of awesome.

1955 Chevy 210 and 150 models. The 210 was mid level while the 150 was the base. The 210 had a little bit of trim but not too much like on a top of the line Bel Air, it was just the right amount for the amazing new design for 55. The 150 was no frills but just the whole new shape for 55 with no trim to distract you. Both models looked classy without screaming I bought the “hot new thing” like the bel air and nomad

I’m gonna go ahead and throw my own car in, Jaguar XJS V12.
Because it’s unobtrusive, and anything that comes with a tape full of hilarious “driving music” is class in my book.

Whenever I see a clean W126 I think that the owner has found perfection and saw no need to ‘upgrade’. When I was younger they were driven by nouveau riche and yuppies, but today they seem to be driven by those that appreciate who appreciate the timeless elegance of what was probably one of the best engineered cars ever.

Fiat 130 coupe
Peugeot 504 coupe
Lancia Gamma coupe
None are from the major luxury brands, so they're much more for the connoisseur.
