One of our Ram vans is having trouble starting when cold occasionally. When it does, the electronic throttle control light (pictured, aka lightning between buttcheeks) is on. Anyone dealt with that before? It’s only like that for a minute or two and then it’s fine. The light goes out. It’s a 2013 with the 3.6.

Sounds like dirty contacts. I would find the connector, clean it out and put some dielectric silicon grease in there. Its a cheap start at least.

I’ll try that. It does have 156k right now, it wouldn’t surprise me if the connector is dirty.
