The question is simple,
or
Both are American icons
Both start around $55,000
Both have rip-roaring, naturally aspirated V8’s
Both are great track day cars, and still civil on the road.
Which one would you get?

GT350 hands down.

GT350, because other than being strongly opposed to owning something from GM, the LT1 doesn’t hold a candle to the sound the Voodoo makes.

Corvette because its a Chevy but would rather have a ZL1 or Z28

Give me that flat plane 5.oL V8 please. Mustang for sure.

Vette

GT350 all day, it’s more interesting than a base Corvette.

I’ve heard the Corvette C7 before. I’ve heard the screaming flat plane V8 of the Shelby going around Laguna Seca by press junkies at full blast during the historics. Shelby all the way.

gt350. Dat exhaust note.... ughhhh

Gt350. I’m not really a Vette guy.

This one because “I own a Corvette” sounds way better than “I own a Mustang.”

Would totally DD the GT350.

Corvette. Not buying a Mustang.

gt350, because my hair is not grey yet, and my lady friend would look terrific driving it rather than clueless behind the wheel of a vette.
edit: i will admit though, the c7 looks great.

Shelby GT350, because flat plane....

Corvette, because I hate the Mustang with the fiery passion of a burning thousand suns and Mustang drivers are some of the most unpleasant assholes on the road, and I hate how it looks, and for the price of a GT350 I could have a Challenger Hellcat instead, and the Corvette isn’t that bad. I would rather have a Corvette, I just would.

And get an automatic. It’s so fancy.

trolololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololololol
OK, I’m doing this right, now.
Oh, whoops! #sorrynotsorry
.

.
Ah fuck it, I’m taking this instead.
Extra 100k, yes, but can fight two tiers above its weight. Also, my biggest middle-finger to the whole lot of you.

Corvette.

Hellcat.

I don’t think you’ll be getting a gt350 for 55000 until later next year. Dealer mark up and what not.

I’m more of a Ford guy, and I dislike GM, but I’d go with the C7.
They are awesomely fast cars, I think it looks better, and it has better aftermarket support.

But, not around $50K (BMW excluded) and American
![]() 09/25/2015 at 22:40 |

Well MSRP is $55 lol
![]() 09/25/2015 at 22:43 |

Not exactly in the price bracket nor is it a NA track carver. I mean for at least $20K more it better be more desirable!
![]() 09/25/2015 at 23:14 |

GT350R then. Thing is a track weapon.

Still, fuck everyone, I’m getting the new NSX. No one, but no one, can jack my style. Not even $kaycog. Not even you. Not a soul or Burner account.
