Here I am parked very reasonably at the transit center, between two other cars parked very reasonably. I have to squeeze myself out of the car though.

In very urban areas, they do seem to be getting smaller.

Are you the guy who blames his pants when they get tighter?

Cars are getting more bloated. Unless of course you drive a Miata.

I could probably park my Blue Torpedo sideways in that parking space. :D

It depends on the lots, but I do think they do that so they can squeeze more in to a lot. Every shopping plaza that has a Kmart in it are the worst. My Civic goes over both sides of those double parking lines. A Civic.

This is why good, centered parking is important. Every parking space (except for the handicap ones) is “too small”. Your door has to open into the neighboring spot. And your neighbor needs to be able to open their car’s door into your spot.
Is model bloat a thing? Yes. Do the designers try to squeeze more spots into a lot? Yes. And this is what we’re left with.

There is no try — there is only do or do not

Hell No. I would expect stance bros to have parking issues. I’m talking a regular old stock 2015 Civic.

Really? That might be against code. There are standards.

Yeah, I touch on both sides. Reason #64 why I park far away.
