In my humble opinion. Also, it’s damn hard to find quality pictures of stock (or nearly stock) trucks. Freakin’ bros...

this was the truck that turned the segment on its head.

also the cheapest V10 you can buy, and if you’re lucky you can find one with a manual transmission!

1994. What a year.

My first vehicle was the last trucks blue and silver twin. Completely stock, lots of records, and looked brand new. Under 200k miles and they wanted less than $7k. It would’ve went for probably $12k now.

Those are my favorite Rams. As far as pickup trucks go, I also find myself partial to Ford’s 1992-1996 body style. It has a real masculine presence, but without being bloated or unnecessary.

mmmm, sporty.

That generation is probably my favorite dodge.
when they went big mouth on the grille, it killed it for me

I’ve always been partial to that wheel/tire combo. Just looks right.

I still like their design direction, although I don’t think the HDs look as good as they used to. These just look trim and muscular.

The current generation is back in the right direction.
There was that middle one though that looked terrible to me.

2002-2008. Kind of an awkward phase. Although I did like the introduction of the 20” wheels. When I bought my 2003 I couldn’t get over the fact that I had a vehicle with 20” wheels from the factory. It seemed like such an exotic thing.

The V8 auto transmission was complete junk, but that 360 engine.... I loved my 96 1500 4x4. It was black with a red stripe down the middle. I went through 2 transmissions in that thing and had to have a valve job at 56k miles. First tranny went out at 72k second at 127k. Should have just swapped in a manual at that point and it probably would have lasted forever.

I like that year Bronco the best.

Which one was it? I had a 545rfe in my ‘03 and it was trouble free.

I like them alright, but I would have upgraded to these:

I have no idea, the first one was replaced by the dealership at no cost to me. The second was through a friend that replaced it for me at cost plus cheap labor plus beer.
Although, I think it was 01, 02 or 03 when they changed because guys who had those did not have any of the problems I did.

Those are nice as well. I can’t stand newer gen wheels on an older gen vehicle, though. Just bothers me for some reason.

Better than this.
Every time someone buys American Force Wheels, a puppy and a kitten die.

If I had to have a Ram, it would be this one. With Cummins and manual.

Agreed, what the hell is the point?

I don’t have a clue. And I mistyped my first comment, it was almost my first truck.

Got to hand it to Dodge, they redefined how people look at truck design.
