Because it uses Maserati cues but works better within its market segment. A brand new one is coming up soon actually, same with the K900. Not a facelift but completely new models over the next two years. Should be phenomenal since they introduced the models halfway through their life cycles and now have US feedback for the new ones.

You may be surprised to hear this, but I’ve test-driven the Cadenza. Twice. And loved it. In fact, if/when the Galant dies, I am replacing it with a Cadenza. I just need to decide between Smokey Blue or Bronze Metallic.

I prefer Smokey Blue and I almost test drove one, I drove the new Azera and the Fusion but I feel I should try the Cadenza now, it looks really nice!

Yep, I’ve had my ’99 Galant for 15 years now. It was my first car, and 135K miles later, it’s still my DD. The Phaeton is my weekend driver.
